Anger Prayers

Heavenly Father,

I humble myself under Your mighty hand, I submit to You Lord God, I resist the devil and he will flee from me as written in James 4:7.

  • I give You all the glory, praise, and honor in the highest
  • I put on the whole armor of God fighting the good fight and enduring until the end. I walk by faith and not by sight. I trust You with my whole heart and lean not unto my own understanding. I acknowledge You in all my ways letting You direct my path.
  •  I surrender and yield to Your precious and sweet Holy Spirit who comforts, leads, guides, protects, empowers, and anoints me.
  • I thank You Father in Jesus name for every good and perfect gift for I trust and believe with all my heart that they come down from the Father of lights.
  • I Love You Lord God with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my mind, and with all my strength. Most importantly I thank You for first loving me that I can come to love You and others.
  • Thank You for the fruit of the Spirit and the manifestation of it.
  • Thank You for healing, redeeming, forgiving, and delivering me Lord God from anger and anything that causes me to sin against You. I do repent of any and all sins against You and others and forgive those that have sinned and hurt me.
  • Thank You for every stripe, and blow that Jesus took for me, and for His precious blood that He shed - and now covers me.

In regards to anger Lord God,

I break the curse of anger off my life and the life of my children and family! And I release the blessing into our lives in Jesus Name and by the power of His blood. I turn from anger and rage! I do not and will not envy others-it only leads to harm.

I have chosen Your way Lord God and that is to be wise, cautious and avoid danger.
I choose Your way of patience my Lord.

May all my answers be gentle and turn away wrath, never to use harsh words which stir up anger.
My prayer to You my Father is to be a person of patience; to have self-control in all circumstances of life.

Bless me Father to be slow to anger, quick to forgive, slow to speak, and quick to hear.

Father,

I choose to forgive everyone and not walk in anger. If I have ever called anyone an idiot, or if I have ever spoken a curse against or about anyone – forgive me Lord - I do repent. If there is anyone that is alive that I need to reconcile with Lord God – please give me the opportunity to meet that person again. But if I never see or hear from them again my Lord and my God, have much mercy on me and them and forgive me. If it was them I forgive them and ask You to forgive them and bless them.

Thank You Father that as I forgive those who sinned against me, You forgive me.

Lord God I leave all vengeance to You, For it is written, "I will take vengeance; I will repay those who deserve it," says the Lord.
Instead, I do what the Scriptures say: "If my enemies are hungry, I feed them. If they are thirsty, I give them something to drink, and they will be ashamed of what they have done to me."
I will no let evil get the best of me, but I will conquer evil by doing good.

By the grace of God I will not sin by letting anger gain control over me. I will not let the sun go down while I am still angry. By Your mercy and grace I will not let anger give a mighty foothold to the devil.

I get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of malicious behavior.
Instead, I will be kind to others, tenderhearted, forgiving all, just as God through Christ has forgiven me.

For Lord, this is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language.

For I know the one who said, "I will take vengeance. I will repay those who deserve it. "He also said, "The Lord will judge His own people."

My Lord and my God, it is written and I do obey, to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.

To be angry can never make things right in Your sight Lord God.

In Jesus Mighty and Precious Name,

Amen.
