Assurance: (Greek-pistis, generally
rendered "faith")
Acts 17:31 (NLT)
31 For he has set a day for judging the world with
justice by the man he has appointed, and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead.”
Assurance Prayer
Lord I am sure
of this: You have set me apart as one of the godly for Yourself. You, my LORD will answer when I call to You.
For Your
Holy Spirit speaks to me deep in my heart and tells me that I am Your child.
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate me from Your love.
Death can't, and life can't. The angels can't, and the demons can't. My fears for today, my worries about tomorrow, and even
the powers of hell can't keep Your love away, my LORD and my God.
Whether I am high above the sky or in the deepest ocean,
nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate me from Your love that is revealed in Christ Jesus my Lord.
Because
of Jesus the Christ and my faith in him, I can now come fearlessly into Your presence, assured of Your glad welcome.
My LORD and
my God, You are the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that You are able to guard what I have entrusted to You until the day
of Your return.
My desire
is to have a great love for others as long as life lasts, in order to make certain that what I hope for will come true. This
confidence is like a strong and trustworthy anchor for my soul. It leads me through the curtain of heaven into Your inner
sanctuary.
Since I am receiving
a Kingdom that cannot be destroyed, I humble myself under your mighty hand – with thanksgiving in my heart and upon
my lips ready to please You my God by worshiping You with holy fear and awe.
I declare
that I love my Christian brothers and sisters, which proves that I have passed from death to eternal life. Your word says, “Such love has no fear because perfect love expels all fear. “
Father bless
me and help me to be faithful to the end, trusting You my God just as firmly as when I first believed, so that I will share
in all that belongs to Jesus the Christ.
I enter
into Your presence LORD God, with a heart fully trusting You. For my evil conscience has been sprinkled with Jesus blood to
make me clean, and my body has been washed with pure water.
What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what I hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things I cannot
yet see.
My goal
is that I will be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I pray in Jesus Name to have full confidence because
I have complete understanding of Your secret plan LORD God,
which is Jesus himself.
I have read
the Good News, Your words with power, for the Holy Spirit gives me full assurance that what I read is true. I believe in the Son of God, and I know that I have eternal life.
It is by my
actions that I know I am living in the truth, so I will be confident when I stand before the Lord.
I pray that
those that are guilty will not forget this.
I am absolutely
convinced that God is able to do anything he promised.
I stand firm and mature
[in spiritual growth], fully confident that I am following the whole will of God.
