COMFORT
(Somebody or something providing
relief)
Father in Heaven,
You are wonderful. How truly grateful I am that you are the God of all comfort.
Thank You Father GOD that You are my Refuge
and Strength [mighty and impenetrable to temptation], a very present and well-proved help in trouble.
I declare I will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains be shaken into the
midst of the seas, Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling and tumult.
Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!
Father, even though I walk
in the midst of trouble, how grateful and thankful I am to You - for it is You who will revive me; thank You for stretching
forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me.
Lord, You are my Rock, my
Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my keen and firm Strength in Whom I will trust and take refuge, my Shield, and the Horn
of my salvation, my High Tower.
You
have not ignored me during my time of suffering or whenever I was in need. You have not turned and walked
away. You have listened to my cries for help. Thank You my God and King forever.
Though
I stumble, I will not fall, for You LORD hold me by the hand.
There is none good but You LORD. When trouble comes, You are a strong refuge for me. And You know that I trust
in You.
LORD who saves the godly but You? You are our fortress in times of trouble.
LORD, I give you all my burdens and I know You will take care of me. You will not permit me to slip and fall.
Thank You Lord that I have peace in You. You said, “Here on earth I will have many trials and sorrows. But I take heart, because You have overcome the world."
Lord Jesus, I Come to You, whenever I am weary and have allowed myself to carry heavy burdens, and I rest in
You.
LORD, I take comfort in knowing that the more I suffer for Christ, the more You will shower me with Your comfort
through Christ.
When I am oppressed LORD – You are my shelter, a refuge in times of trouble.
I know You will not abandon me forever Lord God. Though You bring grief, You also show compassion according to
the greatness of Your unfailing love.
For You do not enjoy hurting people or causing them sorrow.
I wait patiently for You LORD. I will be brave and courageous. Yes, I will wait patiently for You LORD.
LORD, I will not hide these truths from my children but will tell the next generation about Your glorious
deeds. I will tell of Your power and the mighty miracles You did. For You issued Your decree to Jacob; You gave Your law to
Israel. You commanded our ancestors to teach them to their children, so the next generation might know them--even the children
not yet born--that they in turn might teach their children. Amen.
The children of your people will live in security. Their children's children will thrive in your presence."
Hallelujah!
LORD, I give You all the Praise, Glory, and Honor; for you give the barren woman a home, so that she becomes
a happy mother.
LORD, I desire to do Your will all the days of my life; so grace me to be one of the good people who leave
an inheritance to their grandchildren. I decree that I receive the sinner's wealth which is passed to the godly.
I declare I have the utmost reverential fear of You LORD and know I am secure; You will be a place of refuge
for my children.
I will not act like a fool LORD who loves quarreling; I choose to honor You and avoid fighting.
I love my children and will correct them Your way LORD, for spanking them will not cause them to die. Praise You my
LORD and KING. Amen.
